If any player in the League wishes to add stories of their army to this site, they must complete the following:
- Register for a free WordPress account.
- Email James Poulsen, providing your name and either the username or email address associated with your WordPress account. Don’t forget to mention that you’re looking to write stories for your army 😉
- You will receive an invitation to join the War of Maleficus WordPress site as an Author. Complete this invitation.
Read this information on how to create posts: https://learn.wordpress.com/get-published/. You will only have permissions to add/edit/delete your own posts so some of the information on that site is not applicable.
Requirements for Story Posts
1.Select ALL of the following Categories for your posts:
- Narrative
- Player Stories
- <Your Name>
If there is not a Category of your name, please create one and set it’s parent category to “Player Stories”.
2.Include your army’s name in the post title; if you don’t have a name, use both your league faction and your name in the title. There are places on the website where all player stories are listed, not just yours. So including this info in the title will help readers know which story is for what army.
3.Include your name as the author within the post it’s self. Non-admins will likely be removed from the website a few weeks after the Apocalypse game/end of the league. All posts will remain but the WordPress “author” of the article will be reassigned to a league admin. Putting your name as the author within the post helps people know who actually wrote it later.
