The hunt begins anew. As your forces close in on a second relic. This time, a degree of caution is needed, in order to avoid catastrophic destabilization. Secure the site where it lay hidden. Though do so quickly, as many enemies are inbound, and seek to take it for themselves.
This round runs from June 23rd to July 6th.

The basis of this mission is Eternal War: The Four Pillars on page 51 in Chapter Approved 2018. If all players in the game agree, players can use different point values and army composition rules for their mission but still need to use the Eternal War:
The Four Pillars mission for the game to count as the league game.
THE ARMIES
Each player musters an army up to 1,500 points in size. Players can use up to two Factions in this game but the largest detachment, based by point value, must be of the player’s LEAGUE FACTION. Players should use the limitations for a 1,500 point game defined in the Organized Events table in the latest Warhammer 40K Rulebook FAQ. All detachments must originate from the Warhammer 40K Rulebook.
Forge World units are allowed to be used. Players need to have the rules printed off for any Forge World unit to present to their opponent(s) since many players may not be familiar with them.
THE BATTLEFIELD
First the players place four objective markers as follows. Draw imaginary lines from the centre of the battlefield towards each corner of the battlefield and place an objective marker 15″ from the centre of the battlefield along each of these lines.
Once all the objective markers have been placed, the players then create the rest of the battlefield and set up terrain.
DEPLOYMENT
The players roll off and the winner determines which of the standard deployment maps is used in the battle (see page 216 in the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook) and picks one of the deployment zones for their army. Their opponent uses the other deployment zone.
The player who did not pick their deployment zone then deploys their entire army first. Their opponent then deploys their entire army. A player’s models must be set up wholly within their deployment zone.
FIRST TURN
The player who finished setting up their army first chooses who takes the first turn. If they decide to take the first turn, their opponent can roll a dice: on a 6 they seize the initiative, and they get the first turn instead.
ACCEPTABLE CASUALTIES
The matched play rules for Sudden Death are not in use for this mission.
BATTLE LENGTH
At the end of battle round 5, the player who had the first turn rolls a D6. On a 3+, the game continues, otherwise the game is over. At the end of battle round 6, the player who had the second turn rolls a D6. This time the game continues on a 4+, otherwise the game is over. The battle automatically ends at the end of battle round 7.
VICTORY CONDITIONS
At the end of the game, the player with the most victory points is the winner. If both players have the same, the game is a draw. Victory points are scored for the following:
Siphon Power: At the end of each battle round, if one player controls more objective markers than their opponent, they score 1 victory point. If they control all four objective markers, they score 3 victory points instead. A player controls an objective marker if they have more models with the Troops Battlefield Role within 3″ of it than their opponent does (other units cannot control objective markers; ignore them when determining who controls each objective marker in this mission).
The following adjustment only applies to the Siphon Power Victory Condition: If all units within a Battle-Forged army have the IMPERIAL KNIGHTS faction keyword, each model counts as a number of Troop Battlefield Role models equal to half of it’s remaining wounds, rounded up. For example a Knight Paladin would count as 12 Troop Battlefield Role models while at full health but once it’s reduced to 13 wounds remaining, it then counts as 7 Troop Battlefield Role models.
No Prisoners: At the end of each battle round, a player scores 1 victory point if more units from their opponent’s army were destroyed during that battle round than from their own army.
Slay the Warlord: If the enemy Warlord has been slain during the battle, you score 1 victory point.
First Strike: You score 1 victory point if any units from your opponent’s army were destroyed during the first battle round.
Linebreaker: If, at the end of the battle, you have at least one model within the enemy’s deployment zone, you score 1 victory point.
POST-GAME FORM
All players must fill out the Post Game form after the game is complete. Once all the forms are submitted, both players receive 1 raffle ticket for participating, regardless of the outcome of the game.
