Round 2 – Supplies Retrieved

Displaced and confused, the survivors fought any not their own. Engaging all potential threats with ferocity. As any opportunity gained by their enemy, could quickly spell doom for them.

Although not much more than small skirmishes, the battles that waged within Maleficus where numerous and bloody. Each faction fighting desperately for any supplies that could be found. Whether it be equipment, munitions, or even food. Most were able to break away from the skirmishes with at least some of the supplies, a lucky few made off with more.

As the battles died down, a strange stillness settled over the worlds once again. A moment of respite was taken as each faction counted their gains or mourned their losses. Each regrouped and prepared for whatever might come next.

Some of the forces of the Imperium of Man were doing well, gaining ground and driving off their enemies. Most however, were being forced to retreat. Loosing ground and forces. Being pushed into a corner while in an already weakened state.

The Tyranids were doing frightfully well. As if they were some how coordinated, being unaffected by the warp storm around them. Their numbers increasing as they consumed any biomass they found.

Forces of Chaos, while not achieving overwhelming victories, nipped at the heels of the Imperials. Having been robbed of their victory on Kronis, they pursued the imperials, driven by rage and hatred.

The Tau and Necrons were small numbers, but still posed a threat. And were circling their foes, looking for weakness and opportunity.

The warp storms affected the Eldar worse than the others. Their Seers crippled by the warp storm. Causing disarray among their survivors. Though despite this, a few groups successfully obtained supplies and regrouped.

Orks continued to loot and fight, seemly unbothered by the violent nature of their arrival. Though due to their thinned numbers. They were not yet a major threat.

With numbers bolstered and supplies gained, for most the next objective was intelligence gathering. Where exactly did they end up? Could they find allies, or only more enemies?
